Hunger... One of the worst things a person, but also an animal, can have to deal with.
But stray animals unfortunately almost always have to deal with it. Day in, day out...
And the winter months are especially difficult for them.
That is why now in this coldest month we ask for donations for Wintervoer, as we do every year!
The big problem is that everything that is still edible is rock hard during this frosty period.
That is why stray animals in all those cold countries, especially in Eastern Europe, are almost completely dependent on animal helpers.
With our more than 15 years of experience, we now know dozens of them.
Without those brave and always active men and women who want to distribute food, this would be impossible to do.
But then they also have to receive sufficient financial resources from us, to be able to buy enough bread, slaughterhouse waste, etc.
They know exactly where the stray animals are, usually in forests where they can lie a little more sheltered from the icy wind.
But if there are no forests nearby, then those helpers have to search carefully...
We have seen photos of dogs that have dug a hole somewhere in an open field, where they can often lie with puppies a little out of the wind.
Let's start this new year off right with this winter food aid project!
It's not only very important for the hungry animals to be able to stay alive.

3 febr. - En nog eens een prachtige laatste week! Vele honderden honden en katten kunnen op straat gelukkig de rest van deze winter toch goed eten krijgen! Dankzij jullie, heel veel dank daarvoor!
27 jan. - Met nog eens zo'n mooie zeven dagen hebben wij zelfs ons toch al hoge streefbedrag behaald, lieve mensen! Jullie worden door de tientallen dierenhelpers waar wij dit aan gaan uitdelen ontzettend hartelijk bedankt! Maar natuurlijk is er nog een laatste week....
20 jan. - Wat een mooie week was dat, lieve mensen! Ontzettend bedankt en wat zullen al die lieve dierenvoeders in de diverse heel koude landen in Oost-Europa jullie willen omhelsen als dank-je-wel.....
13 jan. - Nu het ook in ons land best wel koud is geworden, kunnen wij als dierenvrienden nog beter voorstellen hoe het moet zijn om als zwerfdier in nog veel moeilijkere landen in Oost-Europa eten te moeten zoeken... Hopelijk kunnen we er een echt mooie opbrengst van gaan maken!
6 jan. - Het traditionele wintervoer project is weer van start gegaan en in de eerste gebroken week kwam er gelukkig al weer een prachtig bedrag voor binnen. Super veel dank, lieve mensen!
